Quantitative approaches to study epigenetic phenomena

Quantitative approaches for studying single cell protein concentrations (transcription factors, chromatin associated proteins etc.) and post-translational modifications of chromatin and RNA molecules are crucial to be able to generate predicting models of cell fate. To determine the absolute levels of protein effectors or their posttranslational modifications, across multiple cellular generations in high through put methods, we aim to develop combined approaches of quantitative and single-molecule imaging, mass spectrometry, microfluidics, next generation sequencing and more.
