Guest Speaker - Antonis Kirmizis

EpiCrossBorders was thrilled to host Dr. Antonis Kirmizis, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cyprus, for a captivating talk, 'Regulation of chromatin function by histone N-terminal ends'. Held at the HPC Building in Neuherberg, the event attracted an audience eager to learn from one of the leading figures in molecular biology.

Dr. Kirmizis shared insights from his groundbreaking research, highlighting the latest advances in understanding gene regulation mechanisms. His presentation sparked lively discussions and offered invaluable perspectives on the future directions of epigenetic research.

The success of the event was further enriched by Dr. Kirmizis' engaging interactions with our students, who greatly appreciated the opportunity to converse with him and gain further insights into his career and research journey. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Kirmizis for his time and expertise, as well as for inspiring the next generation of researchers through his thoughtful conversations.

We look forward to welcoming him back in the future!
