Empowering Young Scientists: Applications Open for 2026 Chromatin Summer School
e are excited to share that the Epigenetics Community at Helmholtz Munich, in collaboration with Abcam, will once again host the Summer School on Chromatin Biology in Munich, Germany, from 17–29 August 2026.
This unique program brings together 14 outstanding international PhD students for an intensive learning experience. Additionally, in 2026 we are offering two sponsored places (registration fees waived) for students from low or lower-middle income countries.
Our unique program features:
- Daily lectures by world-leading experts in epigenetics and chromatin biology
- Hands-on training in cutting-edge genome-wide techniques
- Interactive discussions on emerging research trends
- Networking opportunities to build lasting international collaboration
The previous Summer Schools were a great success, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and equipping participants with advanced skills to tackle complex scientific questions in chromatin biology. 2026 promises to be as impactful, providing a unique platform for young scientists to learn, connect, and innovate.
