Currently abroad in Scotland, PhD Student Sophie is enjoying her exhange experience at the University of Edinburgh. "I am currently spending my time in the Illingworth Lab at the IRR in Edinburgh, where my focus lies in learning how to perform ChIP-sequencing for murine brain tissues as part of my project. My time here has been highly valuable for helping me advance my PhD project and I will be able to take the skills I have learned back to Helmholtz and integrate them there to enrich my work further. Beyond the lab, I have been enjoying getting to know his city and its people, as well as exploring the breathtaking highlands during my free time."
