The epigenetics@HMGU community consists of 32 research groups from 17 different Helmholtz institutes, committed to performing ground-breaking research in the field of epigenetics. These groups are pioneers in their respective disciplines, utilizing cutting edge techniques to answer the complex questions of today. The topics studied by the community include: cellular plasticity, stem cells, diabetes, computational biology, epidemiology, metabolism, immunology, development and systems biology. Embedded within this dynamic and supportive community, graduate students in the Epigenetics Research School benefit from the wealth of scientific expertise and a strong commitment to the education and training of future leaders in the field.
