I studied biochemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. During my master’s thesis in Dr. Jürg Müllers group at the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry, I investigated the transcriptional phenotype of Polycomb knockout mutants in early Drosophila embryogenesis, using RNA-FISH. Currently, I am a PhD student in Dr. Stephan Hamperl’s group at the Institute of Epigenetics and Stem Cells Munich, where I investigate transcription-replication conflicts (TRCs).
