Research Topic: Statistical methods for 3D spacial reconstruction of omic profiles
Supervisor: Prof. Antonio Scialdone
Enrolled since 2022
RNA tomography (TOMO-seq) offers an affordable way of generating genowide whole-organ spatial transcriptomic data, albeit at lower spatial revolution. Under the supervion of Dr. Scialdone and Dr. Vallejos I am aiming to develop novel Bayesian tools to increase spatial resolution of TOMO-seq, making the widespread adaption of this experimental technique feasible.
